When It Started to Rain

When it started to drizzle, both of us moved out of ground together. After scanning the dark clouds above, our eyes met with eyebrows squeezed, face almost wet with tiny rain drops and ears alert to thunder sounds that were scary.

Locking the gaze for a second, we kept heading for a shelter. I knew mine, perhaps he had to search.

We parted our ways outside the ground towards different direction. Through the corner of my eyes, I saw him trying getting under a red Tata Nano…bad luck…he didn’t fit. Maruti Suzuki gave him a shelter. He peeped out to check the world around his new found shelter and I got into mine (Office building).


But then both of us are animal. I have everything so definitive and he..
